1-Click Answers from Answers.com - The Most Underrated Free Utility on the Net
If there is one utility that I was completely blown away by earlier this year, it’s the FREE 1-Click Answers Utility from Answers.com. No more browsing to Dictionary.com, and looking for a definition or checking your spelling. Now you can do it on the fly right in any application. Their description, pretty much explains it all:
Download 1-Click AnswersTM 2.0 for Windows and then Alt-Click on any word in any program on your screen for an instant, pop-up AnswerTip that won’t interrupt your work.
That’s right, all that you have to do is right click on ANY word in ANY program, including, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, browsers, menus, etc, etc, etc…And if you don’t know of the power of Answers.com, I’ll just let you know that it’s Dictionary.com on Steroids. Here are couple of screenshots of the power of AnswerTips:
In Firefox
In Outlook

i wonder if you can hack this to go to wikis or thesaurus.com? or to rhyming dictionary(s)? opens multitab and/or splitpane tab?
in any (winnt, i assume) app. that’s convenient. makes me worry a bit about exploits, though.
