Apple’s Safari Browser coming to Windows?

That’s right you read me right. That’s the big buzz going around the web today. Apple is actually releasing their less then adequate Safari web browser for Windows. Is this a move to garner more users in an ongoing continual struggle against Firefox?…Likely. I probably shouldn’t scream a loud opinion on Safari, as I’ve used it all of about ten minutes on my buddies MacBook. I just wasn’t all that impressed to say the least.
Firefox is taking over the browser world. You know it, I know it, Microsoft has known it, and now Apple is finally getting the picture.

I agree with you in that FF is where it’s at. I love how IE had no shame when adding it’s own tabbed browsing.

I knew most people reading my blog regularly would be in agreement. The majority of my readers are well over 50% reading it with FF.

The problem with 2 days of use is it takes up lot of memory and also crashes here and there. If you add a bookmark, its definitely going to crash.

I’m still trying to see where Apple is going with this. Anybody have any ideas behind their motivation? Is this at related to the iPhone?
