Folder Size - The One Addition That Windows Has Needed Since Day One
Hard to believe that even with the release of Windows Vista, Microsoft forgot one feature they’ve needed since Windows 95, oh wait, nevermind, it’s easy to believe. One could only guess the reasoning behind not adding the option for Folder Size when viewing the details for files and directories, but fortunately someone in our favorite open source website, Sourceforge, has come with what all users and system administrators need. An application to add the size of a directory/folder, simply called “Folder Size“.

It definitely is, especially when you’re trying to monitor the amount of disk space being eaten up on your server.
