Listikal Site Slowness and Downtime

You may have or may not have noticed my site acting either extremely slow or down over the past couple days/weeks. I just recently switched host providers from 1and1 to Lunarpages, and I haven’t been happy to say the least. Although my blog seems to be much faster, I’ve already seen way more down/slow periods then I ever did with 1and1. Granted, two denial of service attacks on my server haven’t helped, but the fact that Lunar has offered nothing in return, except slow response time, really gets frustrating. I did my research and I’m going to stick with Lunar and their good repuation for now, but that opinion may subside very soon.

So, please bare with me as there may be periods of extreme slowness and/or downtime as I iron out the kinks with Lunar.

On the serious though, I was 1and1 for a minute. Couldn’t stand them. I’m now with webintellects, and I think they’re good. Pretty good tech support, great features for my domains and the like, so I’m pretty happy. When I only had one site, I went with interland.com. They were a bit pricey, but my site was always always up, tech support was phenomenal, and I had root access. They were a bit pricier than what I wanted to pay though at the time.

Took me a minute to understand that Bush, but now I do :) Thanks for your feedback. It’s so frustrating, because I’ve read so many good things about them(Lunarpages) and yet I really haven’t seen any of this quality feedback.

I agree with you completely in regards to 1and1. Although their control panel is very user friendly, the access you are limited to and the EXTREME slowness was to much for me.

The only good thing about 1and1 (if memory serves correct) is they give you Adwords coupons and trials of other stuff too like SEO submission software. But is it worth the headaches? No way José.
