Meebo - Instant Messenger’s Internet Based Best Friend
I”m sure a lot of you know about this site, but for those of you don’t, prepare to be amazed by a simple yet very useful online project that is taking the web by storm. The service is simply called “Meebo”. It essentially allows anyone whom has an online instant message account with AIM, Google, MSN or Yahoo to login to their account through a very simple website, Meebo.com.
Have an account with all of these services?, not a problem, Meebo has established their own service that allows you to create an account with them and a universal login for all four of the services if need be. (I’m in that group) This site is very handy for schools or business’s that do not allow IM clients to be installed on their machine or if the company firewall is blocking one of the needed ports.
The service supports just about all of the same functions as the standard service. All of your buddies remain intact, chat logs are kept, and you can be notified when a user is typing via a flashing task in the taskbar.
The service has been around a while and although they aren’t the only form of something like this, they are the BEST form of something like this. Check it out : www.meebo.com

It seems like a great app for people who use those four instant messengers regularly. Cutting down on the number of logins is always a plus. I don’t need to use it though. Most of my friends are in my head heh.
