One of the many display enhancements that Windows Vista added was the ability to get a small preview thumbnail when hovering over particular applications in the taskbar. Mac fans will say they’ve this feature for a long time and Microsoft has gone a done another copy and paste from them. Some of us haven’t made the plunge though and haven’t jumped on the Vista bandwagon yet. So, for those of us whom haven’t made that jump yet and want the thumbnail preview. Part III of Listikalz. A weekly series that rewards anyone who makes a comment on Listikal.com with a link back to stories or links that have peaked my interest. Etcha.net(Etcha) - After my recent post in regards to amazing Etch-A-Sketch art from George Vlosich III, I received a comment from Etcha, whom has a site dedicated to various Etch-A-Sketch artists and their work. Truly amazing stuff.
Make Money with Advertising on your blog(RandLife) - Randlife has a very simple, but very informative post on getting started with monetizing and making money on your blog through some popular and some not so popular forms used today.
Plagiarism strikes Earn Over The Web(Blacklotus90) - I feel for bloggers when I see these types of articles. Blacklotus just recently began blogging recently, and he really has introduced a lot of great ways of making money online. He thought all things were going well up until a strange backlink popped up on his site. He came to discover that the backlink was from a blog on blogger that was directly plagiarizing his blog. This wasn’t done through some automated method as usually the case, this was done from what looks just a direct copy and paste. This type of duplicate content leads to Google ignoring your posts, which of course leads to less traffic. Go post a comment and help Blacklotus take down this horrible offender.

With data storage capacities still growing and hard drives still growing, the possibility of catastrophic data loss is still a possiblity when you’re working with one physical drive. Servers get away with this by what we know as RAID(Redundant Array of Independent Discs). Using several independent physical drives to create what looks to the server as one drive. This allows for drives to crash and/or be removed without any downtime. For the longest time, RAID was meant for business servers/power users. The days have changed, and with individuals needing incredible sizes for photography, video production and gaming, Data Robotics has come up with an incredibly simple device called the Drobo.
