Brown Thoughts has posted one of the most innovative and humorous alarms clocks I’ve seen in a long time. It’s simply called The Flying Alarm Clock. Here is how it is explained from his original source, ThinkGeek.
The Flying Alarm Clock wakes you up with a loud shrieking alarm coupled with a little propeller-driven key that leaps off your nightstand. To turn off the horrible racket, you have to get out of bed and retrieve the key. The propeller flies the key high into the air and off into some dusty corner. You have to force your sleep addled brain into wakefulness, move your stiff legs and retrieve the key before the alarm goes off. By the time you’ve done so, you’re awake enough at least to go make a pot of coffee.
JohnTP posted this a while back and I was just recalling how handy it was after I found it. It’s quite simply the easiest way to download YouTube videos, without adding any additional extensions into Firefox. All that you have to do is browse to any one particular video on YouTube and add KISS to the front of it. Much easier than adding an additional memory hog to FF or a copy/paste routine.
Some young entrepreneur over at Metacafe has posted a simple but what appears to be highly affective way of removing scratches from your CD/DVDs with Tootpaste.
1. Smear toothpaste throughout disc
2. Wash toothpaste off with running water.
3. Dry disc clean with soft towel or t-shirt.
4. Brand new disc for your enjoyment.
Is anybody else sick of the some biggest bands in the world still losing Millions of dollars in sales with digital downloads and staying true to their roots?
Let’s just hope that it’s definitely not iTunes exclusive. As you saw in my previous post, I’m a big believer in Subscription based tunes, so let’s hope they have something to offer there as well. I’m looking forward seeing how long they hold top spot on the charts….It’ll definitely be a record.
