UPDATE: For Wordpress Users, there has been a plugin released: WP-Simpleviewer
After spending nearly 10 hours attempting to figure out how to integrate the fantastic Simpleviewer photo gallery into my blog posts….I finally figured out a painless and insanely easy way to do it. So for my first ever official post, I’m going to give you a quick run through.

Forms have been a part of websites since just about the beginning. Whether for e-mailing, registration, polls or survey’s, they’ve always been a big part of a webmaster’s arsenal. The problem was it wasn’t exactly easy implementing these forms without some advanced knowledge in CGI, Java and extensive HTML or PHP. Blogging is big business now a days. Just about everyday we see or hear a new story about a blogger quitting his full time job to live solely off of his or her blog. Through specific use of Google Adsense or some other alternative, you yourself can do the same. Many, many of these blogs end up dieing in the long run, due to lack of content or through lack of self promotion. That’s why I’ve put together a large collection of links for promoting, indexing and enhancing yourself. Please feel free to comment with more suggestions.

Wordpress, slowly becoming the best blogging platform on the web. Everyday I’m seeing more and more switching to this platform, such as Digg.com and QuickOnlineTips.com. One of the reason’s it’s become so big, besides it’s ease of use, are the plugins. Here is Wordpress’s description of a plugin:
Plugins are tools to extend the functionality of WordPress. The core of WordPress is designed to be lean, to maximize flexibility and minimize code bloat. Plugins offer custom functions and features so that each user can tailor their site to their specific needs.
I took advantage of these as soon as I figured them out. I even attempted to create one, but that’s much easier said than done. Here are the one’s I’m using on this site:

Since E3, the Nintendo Wii hype has exploded. Everybody thought Nintendo’s run in the console war was over when the support for the Gamecube wasn’t taking off. And although it is still very popular, it was nowhere near it’s predecessors. The interactive, wireless controllers, the built in WiFi, the small, sleek design and my favorite feature…the Virtual Console.
The Virtual Console is essentially an Emulator built into the console. It is going to be purchase/download service similar to the way iTunes is setup where one can purchase a game at a fixed price(rumored to be $4US). Rumors have it, that there will be around 60 titles at release and 10 titles/month after that. One of the great things that Nintendo is doing with the Virtual Console, is that they are not just releasing previous NES, SNES and N64 titles, they releasing games from the Commodore 64, the Genesis and the Turbo Grafx 16. The one big negative presently is the fact that sounds like there won’t be online play at release. Read the rest of this entry »
