Post Directly to Your Wordpress Blog in Firefox - Firefox Extension
Last week I went on a journey to see if I could come up with a Firefox extension that would allow you to post directly into your Wordpress blog. I figured there would be plenty of them out there, with plenty of different options. Little did I know that no one had come up with anything until David Karlsson released “Wordpress Post v0.16” last week.
After you plugin your xmlrpc file and a username/password, that has permission to your blog, you then have an option on your right-click menu when you highlight text, to “Posta Till Wordpress”(Post to Wordpress). Beings the plugin was just released, options are limited, but you still have the ability to save the selected text directly to a new a post or draft and choose your desired category.
Although some may use this in malicious ways, I think many may find this useful to create a quick trackback post.
