Replace Windows Run Line With Executor
I find myself using the Window run line(Start>Run) more and more everyday. I still get a number of hits to one of my original posts in regards to Windows XP command line commands, which many Windows System Administrators use everyday. Microsoft has attempted to improve upon this with Vista and although it vastly improves upon the default run line, it lacking a few wanted features.
It still would be nice to have a command line type application that would easily and quickly run any program through a few quick keystrokes, instead of sorting through your endless and confusing programs list. This is where a free program called “Executor” completes many of these little shortcuts and tasks. They’ve just released version 0.91b, and here is a few of the many things they advertise that it does.
To be able to launch faster:
* Programs / short-cuts.
* Documents / files / folders.
* Websites and internet resources.
* Send emails.
* Do fast calculations.
* A number of build in functions such as lock computer, shutdown, show date/time/week etc.
* Do a number of the above tasks combined with only one keyword.

Check out the Website for a long list of all of its features. The features and potential appear to be endless.
