Ten Reasons Not To Buy The iPhone

I’ve never been a big fan of buying first generation hardware, but I have in the past. I must say did purchase one of the launch day PS2 consoles and low and behold it failed around one year later. Launch devices always have their quirks, they always have their issues and they are always going to get nailed with negative feedback. The iPhone is no exception. Speed seems to be the biggest problem, AT&T’s slow edge network, is the only one compatible, and it’s far from sufficient for what people want today. There are also many battery complaints, lack of third party apps and the horrible touchscreen keypad.
Hubpages.com has some very obvious, but very to the fact points regarding reasons not to buy the iPhone right now. Head over there to see what his opinion is on it.
1. Battery issues
2. The AT&T network is slow
3. Difficult to type
4. No access to corporative email
5. Non removable batteries
6. High price
7. Not many applications work with it
8. It has not been tested enough
9. The over reaction means that it will be hard to get one now
10. You need to switch to AT&T

This is first generation iphone and it is bound to have some issues. May be the next generation of iPhone would be much better. I would buy this if it were available in India.

I agree with you. That’s why I don’t understand those people who waited in line for a long time just to get this high price phone.

I totally agree with you with those reasons. I’ve seen on TV how people are waiting in line just to get a hold of one. It’ll be cheaper if they just wait a few months and best of all, there will be no lines.
