Wordpress Users: Rich Text Editor Or Code?

I’m assuming that the overwhelming answer is going to be code, but I just wanted to see if I could get a feel for what all of my readers are using to create and modify their posts. For those of you not using Wordpress I’d like to hear your feelings as well in the comments.

UPDATED: Doesn’t appear that the PollDaddy poll was working. I’ve gone with WP-Polls instead. Please re-vote if you previously voted. Thanks, L

    Wait-I’m confused by the question. Is this what we use when editing our posts or what?

    @Bush

    Sorry for the confusion. Yes, to create and modify posts. I’ve changed the post to clarify.

    Well, you can have third option. Use third party blog editor to blog, for example, Microsoft Live Editor.

    If solely on Wordpress, usually I will use the code section only.

    I’ve added an other option.

    I use the Rich Text Editor to write my posts as it saves a lot of times, but I often have to modify the code when adding code/quotes or some custom formatting for certain functions in my posts.

    I had no idea some people do the entire post in code. Wouldn’t that take a lot longer when adding links/pictures?

    @Kyle

    Maybe I’m doing it differently, but I’ve always used ONLY code. I find that when I do, I never have to mess around with posts being completely hosed up from improper formatting.

    List - You do know you can type it with the Rich Text Editor, then click the Code button and alter the formatting there?

    I always switch to view it in code once I’m done typing the post and change the formatting to look how I want and add code/blockquotes and whatever else the post needs.

    To each their own though, it just seems like it would take a lot longer to write a post and might be harder to keep a train of thought going?

    I too prefer to use both.. Writing a whole post in code with definitely take more time.. I start writing the post in RTE and then goto code if i need to make some changes which are not possible through the editor..

    I use both like dEEPAK mentioned. The RTE is for convenience and going to code for the finishing touches.

    I combine 2 methods to get more interesting result. I like to make comparison between them.

    I prefer to use both like many over here. But most of the time, I prefer the WYSIWYG editor.

    The Rich Text editor is a major annoyance. It automatically inserts/deletes/modifies code and messes things up.
